What is the Contract Monitoring Service?

Our firm keeps a tickler file on our clients' international contracts/agreements, such as, distributor agreements, agent agreements, joint venture agreements, export sales contracts, etc. These contracts/agreements can be contracts/agreements that were drafted by our firm or contracts/agreements that were drafted by others, including in-house counsel and other law firms. Our firm monitors the tickler file and advises clients approximately 90 calendar days before a contract/agreement is to expire. Upon notification from our firm that an agreement is close to expiry, our client can renegotiate, if desired, or let the agreement lapse.

Who are the users of this service?
Companies (small to large) that have international contracts/agreements with foreign companies, such as, distributors, sales agents, etc.

Requirements
Clients must give our firm executed copies of the international contracts/agreements that they have negotiated and any amendments that have been made to such contracts/agreements.
